Alcohol addiction & recovery counselling in Rochester, Medway & online

Who this is for

You might be curious about counselling, worried about your drinking or someone else’s, already in recovery, or supporting a partner or family member. You don’t need to have everything figured out to get in touch.

How counselling can sit alongside recovery

Counselling can offer a steady, non-judgemental space to talk about what’s been happening — including patterns, shame, relationships, and the parts of life that feel tangled up with alcohol. Recovery looks different for everyone. We go at a pace that feels workable for you.

Counselling is one part of support. It isn’t a substitute for medical care, detox or emergency help.

My relevant experience

I’m an MBACP integrative counsellor. Alongside my training, I have experience working in a residential alcohol rehabilitation setting, and I have lived experience of being in counselling myself. That informs how I listen; it doesn’t replace professional training or make me an “addiction specialist” by title.
